**Job purpose**:

**Shift pattern**:4 on 4 off, 12 hours days, nights and weekends**
Rates**:£10.31 per hour**
Location**:DP World London gateway SS17 9DY (Stanford le hope)
**Role requirements**:
- Communication must be to the highest standards
- Customer focus must be to the highest standards
**Required duties**:
- Gatehouse duties, controlling ingress and egress
- standing for more hours
- Searching people
- Searching lorries
- Issuing out passes
- Barrier control
- Dealing with incidents and issues in the correct manor
- Ensuring the process is running smoothly from start to finish
- Making sure Health and safety is being demonstrated whilst working
**Main responsibilities**:
- Be vigilant at all times
- Ensure all patrols are carried out fully and on time
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and customer service
- Reporting skills
- Wear full uniform at all times and correctly
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be a self-motivated team player
- Health and safety awareness and knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills
