Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and professional Security Officer to join our dedicated team. In this important role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have proven CCTV experience, and own a car with a valid UK driving licence. You will play a key role in safeguarding people, property, and assets while delivering the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring only authorised personnel are permitted entry.
  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols to deter, detect, and respond to suspicious or criminal activity.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV systems effectively to identify and report potential security risks.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing first aid when required.
  • Implement loss prevention and asset protection strategies to minimise theft and maintain safety.
  • Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with police, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and visible presence on-site to reassure staff and visitors while upholding company security standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence – compulsory
  • CCTV experience – compulsory
  • Own car and valid UK driving licence – compulsory (travel between multiple sites required)
  • Previous experience in a security, corporate, or loss prevention role preferred
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • First Aid certification desirable (training may be provided)
