**General Maintenance Operative**

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated Handyman, or woman, here at Runtech, based on site at Tata Steel, Llanwern. We pride ourselves on fostering a great working environment, if you’re passionate about doing great things in a fast-moving industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Working as part of a two-man team you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining pumping systems across the site and also carrying out general maintenance and repairs, such as carpentry, minor plumbing, painting & decorating and grounds maintenance.

- Knowledge & experience in the basic skills of general maintenance
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a two-man team.
- Reliable & Dependable
- Able to comply with Health & Safety procedure
- Physically fit (due to nature of the role)

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Full and clean UK Driving Licence

**Package**:

- 40 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday
- Rate of pay is £11.50 per hour
- Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme
- Uniform and PPE Provided
- 28 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
