**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Leadership team and school accountant, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing a welcoming and professional reception for visitors, parents, and children.
- Monitoring attendance records, contacting parents of absent pupils, and producing weekly attendance reports.
- Supporting the planning and organisation of school events, trips, and sporting fixtures.
- Preparing and distributing school communications, including newsletters and website updates.
- Assisting with the collation and editing of school publications.
- Booking staff training, travel, and accommodation.
- Providing first aid (training provided).
- Carrying out administrative tasks using Office 365, Teams, and school-specific systems.
- Acting as the clerk to the trustees and taking minutes in meetings.
- Purchasing and monitoring of stock.
- Using SIMS; our School Management system is desirable.
- Completing school Census returns.

**Person SpecificationExperience**:

- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a school setting is desirable.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong and positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Excellent IT proficiency, demonstrating confidence and ease in using a variety of systems and software.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks and meeting tight deadlines effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail, complemented by a warm, professional, and approachable personal/telephone manner.

**Main Terms and Conditions**
- **Contract**: Part-time, term-time only plus 15 days (46 hours per week).
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am
- 4:30 pm, with occasional flexibility for school events.
- **Salary**: pro-rata term-time plus 15 days).
