This is a fixed term role, for 12 months

The Finance Systems & Reporting Workstream Lead** **will have responsibility for Leading the reporting Workstream for 2 finance projects which include the implementation of a new finance system, and expense system. The role holder will use their knowledge and experience of systems and finance to identify new system reporting requirements, improve processes, and support the Programme Manager and Heads of Finance with all phases of both implementations whilst continuing to maintain the current financial systems.

The role holder will also collaborate with the Finance Team & Business to understand current and future reporting requirements and lead on the design development and improvement of reports and dashboards.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for.

Reporting
- Building MIS reports using prior knowledge and experience
- Seek areas for improvement to enhance effectiveness of reporting
- Delivering month end management reporting in a timely manner

Project
- Lead the reporting workstream on the finance implementation project
- Lead on training, support user acceptance testing and roll out of new system as a whole to the Finance Team and wider business users.
- Support the programme manager and Heads of Finance with the change management process.

Systems Admin
- Main point of contact with IT team resolving current system issues, upgrades, user maintenance and system security on a daily basis as required by the users

Within the Finance Team you will become an expert in the current and future systems and the main point of contact within the team and wider business for all Finance systems.

As a** **Finance Systems & Reporting Workstream Lead, you will be a qualified CCAB accountant.

You should have;
- Extensive experience of working with a range of stakeholders, developing relationships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes;
- Be an effective communicator, positive influencer with the ability to inspire your colleagues, volunteers and stakeholders;
- The ability to use your own initiative to solve system and reporting queries in a timely fashion
- Experience in leading a workstream within a project Demonstrable experience of finance systems implementations as a workstream lead or project manager Experience of finance system administration, and an understanding of data structures and hierarchies
