**The role**:
**Main Job Spec**:
We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller/Demand Planner to formulate and drive efficiencies of having the right stock, in the right place, at the right time - through effective supply/demand planning and software management.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive product availability and manufacturing efficiencies through effective supply and demand planning
- Achieve availability, and inventory targets based on business KPIs
- Build relationships through effective communication with suppliers, internal stake holders and key staff, keeping them up to date on forecast, availability and delivery status
- Facilitate successful product and range launches, promotions and seasonal planning.
- Phase change in line with the agreed critical path, engaging with commercial teams in a timely manner
- Accurate and timely SKU set up for all activity, using expert knowledge to build production and supply forecasts.
- Manage stock holding and aged stock planning
- Provide end to end production critical path and contingency planning.
- Overall responsibility of entire SKU database and inventory management. Ensuring that all listed product information and pricing is up to date and accurate.
- Monitor multiple stock systems of 3PL providers to ensure accurate stock and data.
- Identify stock or data discrepancies through continuous checks, investigate root cause and implement solutions to rectify.
- Work towards JIT and FIFO principles, whilst continuously looking to improve and develop stock reports & processes.
- Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement, drive best practise and cost reduction initiatives, whilst delivering the best service to our customers

**Necessary Requirements**
- Forecasting and Stock Control experience essential.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail, able to anticipate and manage problems, prioritising and escalating where necessary.
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments at all levels.
- Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- Is resilient, proactive and a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
- Able to demonstrate a strategic mindset.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
