Due to consistently exceptional performance, our client, a market-leading supermarket, are expanding their demand planning team.
- Full responsibility for the demand and forecast planning process at SKU and category level.
- Able to analyze all data, systems and buisness intelligence to meet KPI targets for availability, product waste and customer fulfilment
- Ensure production of accurate purchase orders by thorough management of key SKU and supplier data.
- Regular promotional and seasonal analysis of the product mix
- Developing effective trading and supplier relationships by supplier base management reviews and SLA management
- Increasing delivery efficiency across the supply base through order schedules, buying multiple management and other inbound delivery specifications
- Leveraging great relationships with the supply base to engage in collaborative planning
- Operating via a methodology of continuous improvement, taking the initiative to propose new ideas; communicating and implementing them effectively
- Trend and performance analysis for suppliers and product range
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely as required

You will have an analytical mindset and likely have some experience within demand planning, merchandising or possibly buying. Ideally you will also have some experience within either FMCG or an e-commerce environment.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Excellent PC skills and at least intermediate proficiency with Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong communicator with the ability to clearly express ideas, trend and analysis
