Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a workshop maintenance operative for their client in the Birkenhead area.

As a workshop maintenance operative, you will:
- Complete minor building repairs such as plumbing/ painting / electrical repairs etc.
- Assist with the day-to-day upkeep of workshop equipment - drills/ saws/ grinders.
- General cleaning/ clearing of shop floor spillages etc.
- Occasional use of the company vehicle to assist with site deliveries and collections.

We are looking for a building/ facilities maintenance operative with:
- Minimum of 5 years facilities/ buildings maintenance or similar multi trade experience.
- Basic plumbing, electrical, joinery skills.
- Competent in manual tasks and the use of hand tools.
- Current valid UK driving licence.
- CSCS card an advantage.

Initially temporary, a permanent contract will be offered following a successful probationary period.

Standard 39-hour day shift with overtime paid at time and one half.

£13.50p/hour PAYE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
