Join our team at ACM Composite Bearings Ltd, a leading company in developing and manufacturing highly engineered synthetic composite materials for marine and industrial engineering markets worldwide. Part of a Global PLC (based in France) a global leader in surface engineering. We are currently seeking a CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer (Fanuc) to strengthen our existing team.

**The Role**

Working as part of a team operating a range of CNC Lathes on a wide range of work from small quantities to batch work. The setting aspect will involve Programming using Fanuc, setting up jaws, tools, vices, fixtures etc. There is also a requirement for in process inspection using micrometres, verniers etc. Cleaning down the machine ready for the next set up.

**Minimum Requirement**

Experience in operating a range of CNC lathes on a wide range of products working on both batch qty’s & one-off parts. A good understanding of Fanuc and CNC set ups and machining operations. Be able to read engineering drawings and use micrometres and verniers working to tolerances (0.05mm / 0.002”). Must be able to work as part of a team but also under your own initiative without supervision. Minimum of 5 years CNC Operator / Setting experience is essential. Previous experience on Doosan CNC and Haas Lathes would be advantageous but is not essential as some on the job training will be given.
