**Marketing Planning Coordinator**

**Purpose of the role**:
To assist with the co-ordination of marketing planning and activity within the Marketing Planning & Comms team. This role helps to plan marketing activity which can be anything from days in advance to months in advance. The role will also communicate ourkey marketing and trading messages to ensure that all channels within the business are aligned.

The role will include working with online and digital channels, key marketing functions, buying, merchandising, supply chain, retail and suppliers to create a clear and structured marketing plan.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Work with the wider marketing team, trading, merchandising, supply and retail to bring together the planning and phasing of customer-facing activity across the business. This includes the annual calendar, promotions, events, range launches and campaigns.
- Capture the detail of planning and development of each activity, event and proposition, using excellent project management skills.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of output of all work being shared with the business.
- Ownership of trade deal activity and activity plan.
- Manage external agency relationships, keep track of plans and be able to report to senior manager on activity.
- Collate and cascade all required information to the relevant teams.
- Ensure all teams have the correct information to brief creative and review all creative ahead of live.
- Collate analysis of key market and competitor activity and data to inform future campaigns.

**Skills**:

- Marketing experience required but not essential
- Retail experience preferred but not essential
- Passionate about Marketing
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to get stuck in
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Be planned and organised but always ready to adapt quickly to change
