**Finance Officer**:
**Grade 5 (£23,487- £27,116 p.a. depending on experience)**

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

As a member of the Management Accounting Finance Team, you will support the Research & Innovation Service (RIS) in providing a high quality financial support service.

You will accurately monitor income and expenditure, prepare variance analysis and assist with planning, forecasting and month end reporting. You will be carrying out financial processes including raising sales invoices and preparation of internal transfers along with month end processes such as standard budget holder reporting, purchase card reconciliation, Key Travel activity review and journal preparation.

You will have relevant experience of working with financial systems and procedures and the monitoring of financial plans. You will bring with you IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Excel. You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team along with a strong customer service ethos.
