**The Job Role**:
As our client continues to grow, they are looking to further their corporate and community engagement by recruiting a passionate, dedicated and innovative Events & Corporate Fundraiser.

They are looking for a vibrant, creative and confident individual with fantastic communication skills and a real love of working with people. The post holder must be able to work independently under their own initiative but must also be able to work as part of a small team.

Reporting to their senior leadership team, the Events & Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for generating income from both local businesses and the community, including implementing an outstanding stewardship programme for their business supporters and community donors, inspiring others to donate and raising general awareness of our charity both digitally and in person. The post holder will assist Trustees, Ambassadors and Staff in organising and delivering a calendar of corporate/community events to maximise both participation and income generation.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in the organisation and delivery of a calendar of fundraiser events to maximise both participation and income generation.
- Grow their corporate and individual supporter base by identifying, researching and implementing new ways to approach potential supporters/donors
- Implement and facilitate stewardship of corporate supporters and community donors
- Have regular interactions with supporters and donors to grow their supporter network
- Research, identify and implement new corporate and community fundraising income streams
- Make links with schools, businesses, organisations and community groups in order to develop support
- Work within the guidelines of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practice
- Ensure all fundraising activities collect and manage donor data in accordance with relevant legislation
- Deliver work projects against agreed goals and targets
- Support the senior leadership team in raising the profile and awareness of the charity through marketing and communication channels
- Manage social media content relating to corporate, community and fundraising events
**About you**:
You will be an enthusiastic and confident fundraiser with excellent communication skills and experience of developing strong relationships whilst working towards the achievement of targets.
- Experience of corporate and community fundraising or ability to demonstrate transferable skills e.g. sales or marketing
- The ability to present key messages to different audiences
- The ability to plan and run both large and small-scale fundraising events
- A proven track record in achieving financial and non-financial targets
- Knowledge of the principles of good donor management and/or customer care
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience of developing relationships across a wide range of external customers including businesses, individuals, and organisations.
- Knowledge of Legal and financial aspects fundraising e.g. lotteries, licensing.
- A full, clean driving licence
**Hours**:22.5 per week including evening and weekend as appropriate

**Salary**:22.5k pro rata
