**Mid-Weight Web Developer**

**Location: Winchester, Hampshire ( Office based )**

**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus**

**Job Tyoe: Full time and permanent**

Our client is a leading **full-service marketing agency** with locations in major UK cities. Their blue chip client list engage with them to deliver creative design, web development, inbound marketing, and media production. They produce digital,print and creative campaigns that tie together perfectly - for measurable results - and they work with some of the biggest brands in the world.

**The Role**:

- You will be required to provide your line manager and account managers with regular project status updates, whilst striving for the highest level of quality in your work - through code reviews, appraising technical aspects of work, and monitoring efficiencyagainst budget.
- You should have a **degree in computer science (or similar background),** have a passion for digital technology, and be a perfectionist who constantly strives for excellence.

**Skills, Experience & Personal Qualities Required**:

- Experience in creating custom WordPress themes & plugins
- Degree in Computer Science
- Flawless HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JS / jQuery skills
- Strong PHP and MySQL skills
- Experience working with Grunt/Gulp
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Experienced in building and maintaining responsive websites
- Experience using CI/CD such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Ability to thoroughly test, debug and validate the code
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills

**Advantage but not essential**:

- Experience working with Vue, React or Angular JS
- Experience working with Drupal
- Knowledge of Laravel or Symfony frameworks
- Experience writing bash shell scripts
- Technical SEO experience
- Experience setting up and maintaining Ubuntu and RedHat servers
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
