Are you a Middleweight Graphic Designer looking to join a successful agency?

Rooster Marketing is a leading, multi-award-winning creative marketing agency. We are trusted to deliver creative design, web development, inbound marketing and media production for some of the biggest brands in the world. We have offices in Winchester, London, Manchester and Birmingham.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to fill the position of Middleweight Graphic Designer to add to their existing team at our Winchester office.

You’ll understand how to communicate a brand vision, be a conceptual thinker and lay out information in an appropriate and engaging way - for digital, print or packaging.

The Role

The mid-weight Designer role will require you to have experience in artworking, brand and digital design. UX/UI best practices are a must.

You will need to be a self-motivated, driven person who keeps your finger on the pulse of the latest trends in the world of design. You will have an outstanding eye for detail and manage your time efficiently. You will trust your initiative and guide your colleagues on your vision for the design concepts. You will be a confident, strong communicator and comfortable with meeting clients.
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience in a design agency
- Degree in Graphic Design
- Your main responsibilities will be creating and delivering a range of cross-platform creative, artwork and digital design work.
- Strong artwork skills with an eye for detail
- Experienced digital designer
- Strong web design skills
- Solid UX/UI design experience
- Strong brand development skills
- A creative designer who has a breadth of work across branding and digital platforms
- Ability to work through concept design projects, from pitching and discovery to delivery
- Ability to determine the most appropriate strategy to solve a client’s issues
- An understanding of the limitations and advancements in UX design, web design and emerging digital trends
- A fantastic portfolio
- Experience of working with national brands and start-ups
- Strong typography and layout skills with excellent attention to detail
- A good work ethic and attitude, and able to manage your own time
- Be an excellent communicator both written and verbally, and confident when explaining ideas
- Great organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple, diverse projects within tight deadlines
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD
