**Role Overview**:
As the Office Administrator / Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks and maintaining accurate financial records. This dual role requires excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills, along with strong bookkeeping knowledge.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administration**:

- General office management and administrative support
- Organizing meetings, schedules, and office supplies
- Maintaining filing systems (digital and physical)
- Supporting HR functions (e.g., staff records, onboarding)

**Bookkeeping**:

- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Training for preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Training Payroll processing and employee expenses
- Working with external accountants as needed
- Using accounting software Xero.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in office administration and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping or administration (desirable)

SALARY WILL BE £40,228 **PRO RATA and dependant on experience.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,238.00 per year
