Due to exciting company growth, MyLife Edinburgh are recruiting a Care Coordinator. The successful applicant will have a track record in delivering high quality care at home services and be an excellent communicator, with a focus on creating positive outcomes for their colleagues and service users.

Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 9am -4pm Friday. Although applicants must be flexible as the role may involve occasional work outside of these hours.

- Please note there is an on-call requirement for this post, which attracts additional payments to your basic salary*._
- Highly motivated, ambitious and passionate about providing high quality care services
- Previous experience as a Care Coordinator in a Health & Social Care setting is preferred with a good understanding of the Domiciliary Care
- Proven ability to manage and maintain a dynamic & excellent quality care service
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Exceptional leadership and team working skills
- A valid driving license and own transport
- Good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards it

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Liaison with local authority referrals team to match new packages of care
- Set up of service users' package of care on the company's rostering system
- Scheduling of service users' care visits
- Scheduling of Homecarers' working schedules
- Communicating with frontline staff in relation to service delivery
- Liaison with Registered Manager/Quality Officer in planning and organising supervisions and shadowing alongside arranging care reviews and risk assessments for Customers and Quality Officers
- Liaison with the recruitment team to ensure that they aware of staffing requirements and on some occasions partake in face to face interviews.
- Taking part in the branch office's out of hours on-call
- Communicating and reporting effectively with/to the Service Manager and colleagues
