We are looking for a responsible hands on **Food Production** **Supervisor **to join the company and manage the daily production operation whilst providing professional leadership to our rapidly expanding team. The role will be reporting in to the Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver performance against the daily/weekly departmental operating budgets and forecast.
- Ensuring all departmental KPIs are met.
- Planning and implementing daily and weekly schedules in line with the demand.
- Ensuring that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to on site at all times.
- Ensuring compliance to Food Safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure the team is complying by GMP's, SALSA and HACCP at all times.
- Regular inspection and QA of all items in stock.
- Maintaining an efficient production operation within or better than budget.
- Managing processing to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining cost control
- Ensuring goods and raw materials used for production are compliant, safe and legal
- Developing a high performing multiskilled team and carrying out regular performance development reviews.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is a must
- Ability to motivate and manage staff using relevant performance management tools
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Highly computer literate with the ability to analyse data and produce meaningful reports
- Punctual, organised and trustworthy
- Flexible with working hours
- Attention to detail
- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels both verbal and written
- Willing to learn all areas of the operation.
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
