As Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for co-ordinating the logistics operation for the drivers in line with company standards and legal requirements.

**Client Details**

Page Personnel have partnered up with a rapidly growing FMCG Wholesale business, based out of Greenford. They are now looking to add to their Transport department by bringing in highly talented Transport Supervisor to assist the Transport Manager in therunning of the the team and day to day operations

**Description**

As Transport Supervisor you will be reporting directly into the Transport Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:

- Control and manage transport department to comply with legal constraints, (maintenance and driver control/ discipline).
- Coordinate the logístical operations of the site in line with company standards and legal requirements of the role.
- Manage the dispatch of all customer deliveries in the afternoon.
- Understand the SLA agreement with our customers and ensure all calls are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that Goods In/Unloading is carried out safely and efficiently, that product paperwork and temperatures of chilled produce are checked and verified and then recorded on the Goods in Sheets using Goods in staff.
- Using and managing our route planning software to arrange deliveries for all vehicles maximising daily drops to customer

**Profile**

The successful Transport Supervisor will come with the following skill-set:

- Previous Transport experience - **Essential**:

- Previous driver management experience - **Highly desirable**:

- Previous experience within an FMCG environment - **Preferable**:

- Experience with H&S - **Highly desirable**

**Job Offer**
