We are a Nationwide manufacturer and supplier of Insulation, Decorative Cladding, Facade Systems, Building Boards and Fire Protection Products to the Construction and Engineering industries.

We currently have a vacancy for an energetic Internal Sales Person to join our team in our Bristol branch.

**Job Content / Principle Accountabilities & Objectives**
- Answer telephone and take messages accordingly.
- Achieve targets set by the business/management.
- Cold call new customers to find out their requirements, identify our market and offer our services/products.
- Regularly contact existing customer to maintain the relationship and increase sales.
- Identify products that customer’s purchase which we can assist them with.
- Build strong working relationships with customers via the telephone to help achieve sales growth for your branch.
- Listen to customers’ questions and concerns, and provide answers or responses.
- Chase orders once quoted and ascertain what is required to win the order.
- Provide information about products and services.
- Send quotations to customers and record them on the system and/or in your day book.
- Place direct sales orders, manage delivery dates and always look for upselling opportunities.
- Take customer orders, process on the system and manage the stock availability.
- Review or make changes to customer accounts.
- Handle returns or complaints.
- Record details of customer contacts and actions taken.
- Refer customers to supervisors or more experienced employees.
- Identify when an Area Sales Manager may be required to call on customers and pass their details across.
- Meet on time in full requirements for customer orders.
- Liaise with customers for any amendments or changes to their orders.
- Send customer acknowledgements for acceptance.
- Liaising with other departments within the business.
- Filling in reports where required for daily activity.
- Keep pricing folders up to date and notify customers of all relevant price increases.
- Attend training sessions to adapt skills within the business.
- Demonstrate Flexibility and team-working to improve efficiency and overall effectiveness.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
