**Waste Source** is a waste brokerage and management company and is a Reconomy brand operating within the ‘Recycle loop’, supporting customers predominantly in the Hospitality, Property and Retail sectors. To realise our year-on-year ambitious growth plans we are looking for a driven Business Development Executive (our internal job title) to focus on accelerating the growth of our customer base.

This role will focus on driving, developing and winning new business through new customer acquisition. You will be finding new business opportunities and managing those opportunities in the initial stages of the relationship with Waste Source.

You will have access to our extensive prospect database, plus be supported by our online presence and lead-generation system. Once you have proven your capabilities and market knowledge, some existing accounts will be transferred to support the growth in numbers.

**Some of the key duties of this role**:

- Delivering a new business sales target.
- Creating and managing your own sales pipeline.
- Identifying and approaching key decision makers and articulating the Waste Source proposition.
- Manage data using internal CRM and other internal systems.
- Monitoring conversions rates.
- Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key account contacts.
- Overseeing all new site mobilisations.

**What we need from you**:

- New business sales experience preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- High level of IT, good with numbers and literacy.
- Ability to work in a busy environment whilst ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Commitment to progress within a growing company.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Driven and highly motivated.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.

**This position is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We're located in the Tobacco Factory in Bristol, so you will need to live within a commutable distance to work from their each day.**
