**Job Title: Support Worker - Young People with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions and Autism**

**Location: Devon**

**Rates of Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour**

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to join our team. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to adults and young people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and autism. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and supporting individuals with their emotional and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and autism
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their goals
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for service users
- Support individuals with their emotional and social needs
- support individuals with behaviours that challenge
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support

**Requirements**:

- At least one year of experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Level 3 in Children and Young People's Residential Care (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 60 per week

Work days:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge: 1 year (required)
- care / education: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
