We are currently recruiting for a full-time care/support worker to work with a young gentleman that has learning disabilities and can display challenging behaviours.

The young gentleman we support is very active and loves playing sports and going for long walks. He takes part in lots of planned activities including employment and sports.

When he becomes challenging, he can become verbally aggressive, want to abscond and very occasionally, can become physically aggressive.

The annual salary for this post is £29,640 (which includes a regular weekly sleep-in shift that is paid at £90 per night).
- At least one year’s experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours and complex needs
- Must be physically fit and active
- Calm, caring and person-centred approach to supporting
- Demonstrate a genuine desire to support people to achieve their goals and aspirations
- Car driver with own vehicle is essential. Gentleman has own car
