Positive Steps Care & Support are looking for passionate and experienced support workers within Exeter and surrounding areas to join our fantastic organisation. We are aiming to provide safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring support to individuals with support requirements.

The required support hours are as follows:
Monday: 10:30 until 16:30

Tuesday: 10:30 until 15:30

Wednesday: 10:30 until 15:30

Thursday: 10:30 until 15:30

Friday: 10:30 until 16:30

Saturday: 11:30 until 17:30

To enable support, responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the person with everyday duties, this could include personal care, meal preparation and light cleaning duties.
- Supporting the person to access their local community, activities and appointments that they may have scheduled.
- Working in accordance with the expectations and policies of Positive Steps and the expectations of the individual and outside organisations we support.

Requirements for the position:

- A person who is positive, enthusiastic, compassionate and a friendly individual to help support the people who use our service. You will need to be able to follow the care plan and guidelines in place.
- A minimum of 6 months experience within health and social care, ideally with knowledge and experience surrounding Cerebral Palsy and Mental Health. However, transferable skills and personal experience will be considered.
- A full clean driving licence will be preferred but not essential for this position.

- A comprehensive training package, including mandatory training packages; role specific training; inclusion on QCF level 2 (dependent on your current qualifications); Ongoing training and supervisions will be provided.

- You will have a dedicated Care Manager and access to a 24 hour On-call service. There are friendly, positive staff working in head office who are always happy to assist.
