**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the planning of menus, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, and improvements.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others in the kitchen are essential qualities for success in this role.

Start date: As soon as possible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
