**The opportunity**:
You’ll be working in a kitchen, feeding our residents and sometimes their family and visitors too. You’ll have a chance to carry out a variety of kitchen duties from preparing the vegetables to serving the food to washing up - no two days will be the same. You’ll be creating and serving delicious and nutritious meals for the residents.

**What we need from you (selection criteria)**:

- Communication skills - as you’ll be a member of the kitchen team, you will be expected to work with the service managers and our residents to ensure the best service is delivered. So, you’ll have to be approachable and friendly and enjoy a good chat
- Working knowledge of health and safety procedures - getting the job done safely is key. You’ll need to have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of basic dietary and nutritional requirements. If you have a first Aid certificate, let us know If not, don’t worry as we’ll provide training and support you through it.
- An Enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out for this role.
