**Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor**

**Trafford Park, Greater Manchester**

**£35,000**

**Monday to Friday - One Day Working from Home (38 hours)**

Company Profile:
We are looking for a motivated HSE Advisor to join a market leading advanced material manufacturer. Reporting to the HSSE Manager, you will be working within a small team providing day-to-day support and advise to the whole Manufacturing site, includingthe offices. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. The position will appeal to a strong EHS professional looking fortheir next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Promoting and upholding all Company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures by being an ambassador for the department, demonstrating the right behaviours and attitude by your own actions;
- Ensuring that all COSHH Assessments site-wide are maintained and up-to-date and accessible to all plus the maintenance of the COSHH Assessment Register;
- Supporting the HSSE Manager with all accident/incident investigations and for ensuring that corrective actions are put in place and/or are followed up;
- Carrying out internal audits and implementing corrective actions with the Managers;
- Alongside the HSSE Manager you will be Involved in PUWER assessments;
- Providing guidance and support to Line Manager and Supervisors on all the introduction of new risk assessments, updating existing risk assessment documentation, ensuring that they comply with the Company's in-house standards and legislation. Maintenanceof the Risk Assessment Register;
- Compiling the health, safety and environmental statistics for Tenmat Ltd and the Diamorph Group when required and reporting on them, highlighting areas of significant concern or progress on a monthly basis;
- Maintaining and updating the Legal Risk Register where required;
- Carry out any other duties as required commensurate with your role.

**EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE**
- General NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- 2 years previous experience with demonstrable knowledge and understanding of health, safety & environment, chemical safety, risk assessments and Permit to Work schemes
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
