National Health & Safety Advisor to join a business which is in rapid growth. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Safety to support at group level, providing guidance to a number of subsidiary businesses. Making sure they are on the right path and from group level providing compliance. This is a hybrid role, but would suit someone based in the North West for when you do head into the office in Altrincham. This isn’t your typical Health & Safety role, it’s actually somewhat unique in its setup. The group companies all operate independently and are responsible for their own operations which includes health & safety. Your role is to ensure compliance at group level as well as being a guide to these companies and making suggestions for improvement. It’s a very diverse portfolio to include low risk operations as well and medium to high risk across construction, manufacturing, plant hire and a variety of others. Ideal experience for this Health & Safety role: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent. Confident in your health & safety knowledge and able to adapt. Able to spot areas for improvement and provide practical guidance. Would suit someone with medium to high risk exposure, managing safety risks. Comfortable with travel and staying away (likely to average out to a night or two per month). Package includes a base salary of £50-60,000 plus car and bonus.
