**Business Support Officer Grade 4**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.
There are 2 permanent posts full-time posts available working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and are both based within Central Area Team 5, at County Hall, Preston, there is an expectation to work from Unit D, Chorley at least once per month for one of the roles. These roles support the Fostering Service ensuring that statutory checks and reviews for prospective Foster Carers and approved Foster Carers are in line with statutory timescales. The roles also assist in providing ongoing training and support to foster carers to develop their skills and in matching and maintaining placements successfully.
You could be experienced in administration or looking to build on your previous experience and there is no better place to do this than with us.

Knowledge and Experience - Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication - You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.

We are currently working a combination of office and home working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection for none office days. Office days are currently 2 days for the team however these could change or depending on workload needs you may be required to work from the office on additional days.
