We are seeking a highly organised and motivated, part time, Minute Taker/Administrative Support Officer to join the Adult Safeguarding Team.

Grade 5 - £25,584 for 18.5 hours per week for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to £12,774 pro rata.

**About the Role**

The team is responsible for delivering the local authority’s statutory duties under the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and the Wales Safeguarding Procedures 2019.

You will play a key role in supporting the Persons in a Position of Trust (PIPOT) process, also known as the LADO function for adults, by predominantly;
- Coordinating and scheduling professional concerns meetings
- Taking accurate and confidential minutes
- Distributing meeting documentation in a timely and secure manner

The role will also provide general administrative support to the team.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in minute-taking, ideally in sensitive or multi-agency settings
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- A strong communicator with good IT and administrative skills
- Committed to the principles of safeguarding and adult protection

Experience in a safeguarding or social care environment is desirable but not essential. “
