Stock Manager, Denton - Manchester

£31.00 p/hour (Contract for 12 weeks), Mon to Friday 8am - 5pm

This is an initial 12 weeks contract period but could be extended further in to a permanent role.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Manage the movement and logistics of internal stock at each site to maximise stock shelf availability
- Monitor stock levels at each site and investigate stock movements/adjustments where necessary
- Manage daily reporting and monitoring of Warehouse stock holdings
- Utilise data available and other business intelligence to create forecast and analytical data for stock
- Responsible for the management of the stock adjustments and stock counting processes
- Own and lead regular meetings with internal stakeholders
- Produce reporting analytics on stock alterations
- Provide daily updates to internal stakeholders regarding stock discrepancies which will negatively impact external customers, providing the reasoning behind the discrepancy and how this can be resolved as effectively as possible with mínimal impact
- Managing the Goods-In, PI Department and movement of stock between sites
- Manage the call-off and stock movements between TKC sites and 3PL storage sites effectively and to meet customer requirements
- Manage stock lifecycle
- Compile weekly stock reports
- Deliver inbound and outbound availability, forecast accuracy, stock holding and waste targets to the agreed KPI's.
- Responsible for issues relating to stock data quality and maintenance
- Develop, plan and implement continuous improvements in-line with the strategic direction of the company
- To undertake performance reviews with each member of Department's staff and implement any training and development identified.
- Ensure that your reports and their teams are motivated and have the skills, capabilities and resources to meet evolving business needs.

Skills and experience:

- Experience of management within a Warehouse/Stock controlling role
- Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills; drive and commercial awareness
- Comprehensive experience and understanding of forecasting and inventory management is essential.
- Experience of influencing key stakeholders is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Possess excellent leadership skills
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
