Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom Sussex Partnership NHS FoundationTrust Full time

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time IAPT Clinical Lead to work within the IAPT part of our service. Our IAPT service is undergoing an expansion of its workforce and there are significant opportunities for audit and service development.

The Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service is an NHS service for all ages in Brighton and Hove. The service is delivered by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with YMCA DownsLink Group, and Southdown. The service offers a variety of support and psychological therapies to the community of Brighton and Hove. Our interventions are diverse and evidence based, ranging from guided self-help and face-to-face or telephone support to workshop courses.

We know that we can only achieve a high-quality clinical service by maximising the efforts of our team and by creating an environment where colleagues are valued and involved in developing the service. We believe in investing in people, keeping true to the values and behaviours of Sussex Partnership and the NHS and looking after the wellbeing of all team members. We work closely with our Adult Service-User steering group to refine and improve the service that we offer.

The post is full-time, and there will be a requirement to work across different sites used by the service throughout Brighton and Hove.

The post-holder will join a supportive and friendly senior leadership team which includes the Clinical Lead and General Manager for the Brighton Wellbeing Service, as well as Service Managers and other clinical lead roles. The wider multi-disciplinary team includes admin and data management staff, Primary Care Mental Health Practitioners, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, CBT Therapists, and Counsellors.

We are looking for an experienced clinician who has had substantial experience of working and providing leadership within IAPT services. You will need to be qualified either as a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist or as a CBT Therapist, and to hold current accreditation with BABCP.

As a mental health trust Sussex Partnership places a huge focus on the wellbeing of our staff, as well as ensuring our reward packages reflect the immensely important work they do. We can offer you:

- The opportunity to work in a new and exciting collaboration and to help us forge our path
- Access to numerous wellbeing and support programmes, run by our internal wellbeing team

- All the autonomy and responsibility you need to manage your caseload
- Access to a host of discount schemes (including gyms, shopping, restaurants and cars)
- A position within a trust rated as ‘Outstanding’ for caring and ‘Good’ overall by the CQC

Please speak to us about flexible working, for example, home-working, part time hours, flexible start/ finish times or anything else. If it works for you and works for the role, we'll do our best to make it happen.
