In this role, you will work together with a Key Account Director, an internal Key Account Manager and a field based Key Account Manager to service and grow a portfolio of our large accounts. Under the direction of the Key Account Director, you will buildand nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within the key accounts, in order to grow the referring consultants’ base.

**Role Profile**
- Your role will be a hybrid role, split between being office or home based and out in the field meeting with clients as and when required and will also need to attend meetings in HQ.
- You will ensure a high level of sales activity in the three key areas of maintenance, development and generation.
- You will develop and execute nurturing activities across the accounts, with the support from marketing.
- You will conduct activities as directed by the Key Account Director to ensure account plan targets are achieved.
- You will be responsible for the cleansing and maintenance of any account data in the portfolio.
- Where the internal KAM is absent, you will become the primary point of contact for the agencies to ensure accounts are provided a top class service
- Where the field based KAM is absent, you will be responsible for ensuring there is a consistent field presence within the portfolio of clients and contacts
- You will need to travel nationally and be able to attend meetings, client entertainment or networking events which could take place outside of core business hours
- You will understand agency business needs and objectives whilst gaining maximum available market share.
- You will be jointly accountable for the attainment of bespoke revenue and profit targets.
- You will stay abreast of relevant regulations and legislations in order to add value to our agencies.
- You have an excellent understanding of all relevant products and services within the Optionis group to ensure they promote where relevant.
- Your KPIs will be on sales activities, satisfaction scores and your measure of success will be growth in referrals and joiner numbers.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Proven experience in a sales environment, ideally as a key account manager working with account plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer centric attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to execute a high volume of outbound sales phone activity.
- Ability to focus on processes, and experience with salesforce CRM.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a high pressure target driven environment.
- Ability to gain a high level of understanding of relevant legislation and regulation quickly.
