**Company Overview**
Interactive Projects and Design Limited and Lytestream Electrical Engineers and Contractors Limited are expanding companies who undertake electrical, shopfitting and small building projects within the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
We undertake new store fit outs, expansions, refits and planned roll-out projects for the commercial, industrial and retail sectors.
**Summary**
We are looking to recruit a store person/motor fleet co-ordinator to contribute to the operational and maintenance of the stores and co-ordination of the motor fleet within Chesnut House, Darlington on behalf of Interactive Projects and Design Limited and Lytestream Electrical Engineers and Contractors Limited.
**Responsibilities**
**Store Person**
- Receive deliveries daily, check off against delivery notes.
- Place deliveries on relevant shelves for outgoing jobs.
- Picking orders.
- Keeping stocked items fully replenished.
- Topping up and refreshing First Aid Kits, checking expiry dates.
- Booking tools in and out.
- Preparing cardboard for recycling.
- Good Housekeeping inside warehouse and car park.
- Regular tip/skip runs.
- General maintenance.
- Fire Alarm Test. Weekly: 2 fire points/Quarterly: 1 from each of the 5 Zones/Annually every fire point in the building (Keep records up to date).
- 2No Planned Fire Evacuations per year (Keep records up to date).
- Assist with the Annual Fire Extinguisher Inspection.
- Lighting test monthly (Keep records up to date)
- Harness Inspection 6 months (Keep records up to date)
- Steps and Ladders Inspection 3 Months (Keep records up to date).
- Prepare certain parts of our annual H&S Audit (completed by third party Health & Safety Assessors) with our Company Health & Safety Co-ordinator.
- Health & Safety Checklist Workplace Inspection (Monthly).
**Motor Fleet Co-ordinator**
- Co-ordinating vehicle repairs, MOT and Servicing.
- Keeping records of Adblue/additive in vehicles.
- Keep update of Vehicle Inspection Sheets
- Recording the checking out of First Aid Kits to Company Vehicles
**Qualifications**
- Full driving licence required
- Previous experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
