**Working at Wrexham Foyer & ClwydAlyn**

As a Project Worker at Wrexham Foyer, you will be at the forefront of changing the lives of vulnerable young people. Wrexham Foyer, part of the ClwydAlyn Housing Association's supported living projects, is dedicated to helping individuals aged 16 to 25 transition into independent living. By providing essential accommodation and support, Wrexham Foyer addresses homelessness and equips residents with the skills and confidence they need for the future.

In this role, you will need to be adaptable to the diverse needs and goals of our residents. Your responsibilities will include offering leadership and encouragement, providing emotional support, and fostering a stable environment for young people to thrive. By embodying our values of Trust, Kindness, and Hope, you will help residents build a foundation for a brighter future.

The work at Wrexham Foyer is significantly supported by the Welsh Government's Supporting People Programme, emphasising the importance and impact of our services. Our staff are dedicated to assisting residents in overcoming the challenges of homelessness, and your role will be crucial in continuing this vital work.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in healthcare or childcare is advantageous
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is essential
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and their families
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy regulations

**As a Project Worker you will**:

- Facilitate opportunities including activities for residents which will promote social inclusion, confidence, social skills, wellbeing and diversity.
- Lead on our values incorporating safeguarding and health and safety in everything you do.
- Have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting our residents and supporting the team
- Lead by example, demonstrating our values, behaviours and Code of Conduct.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.68 per hour
