Relief Officer

**We need an dedicated person who can cover our customer sites as and when needed.**

**You will be covering (North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Manchester) with no dedicated site £12ph**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Relief Security Officer to join our dynamic and hard-working team.

This permanent role is to provide security services across (North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Manchester) with no dedicated site on a full-time basis. Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.

Must have a clean driving licence and your own, reliable transport would be highly desirable.

**All applicants will be vetted in line with BS7858 and will require documentary evidence.**

**As an area Relief Security Officer you will**:

- Attend our customer sites across (North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Manchester) with no dedicated site.
- X-ray, screening and bag search
- Vehicle and Freight Searches
- Control of access to the Terminals
- Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the Port
- Read and adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.
- Respond to and assist with emergency situations.
- Carry out patrols of areas to ensure that all locations are secure.
- Attend to and investigate reports of incidents.

**Essential Skills**
- Right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history
- **Driving License - Oen vehicle**:

- Be willing to undertake days, nights and weekend shifts
- SIA Licence (or willing to train to achieve this)
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Be able to communicate positively with customers, members of the public
