A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a **M&E Project Manager** to join our client who are a leading international infrastructure group, with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructure investments. Where they create infrastructure; support communities and enable growth. You would be workingon a major construction project based in Smethwick.
**Daily duties of M&E Project Manager include but are not limited to**:
- Working closely with site management team
- Full commercial responsibility (costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.)
- Overseeing all works being carried out on site
- Setting goals and objectives for the project
- Site inspections & Weekly on-site meetings
**The ideal M&E Project Manager will have**:
- A successful track record in managing operational delivery within a construction environment.
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity; experienced at encouraging direct reports to do the same and managing a team to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and key messages cascaded
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, and a flexible attitude towards work in order to deal with a variable and demanding workload
- CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified; must be willing to become First Aid qualified
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel)
- Understands the Organisational Business Management Systems and processes
- Able to produce a realistic programme and proactively track progress
- Able to identify elements for cost recovery from others and guide team members in maintaining project records
