Merchandiser

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time, Field-Based Merchandiser to support the growth of profitable sales for the UK National Accounts (Garden Centres) account base throughout the south of the UK, whilst ensuring that all customer requirementsand sales dependent activities are actioned swiftly and efficiently.
The role is working for Wax Lyrical, however, they will merchandise products for all Portmeirion Group brands.
**Merchandiser Responsibilities**:
You will help support the NAM’s (National Account Managers) to exceed levels of turnover and profitable sales by offering exceptional customer service from order to delivery, and ensure that any customer complaints are captured and actioned swiftly.
**Merchandiser Requirements**:
We’re looking for someone who can be an ambassador for all of our fabulous brands and who will represent the business positively whilst visiting customers, attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions; this role will require considerable flexibility andwill involve significant travel throughout the south of the UK and occasional trips abroad.
We want someone with a keen eye for detail who can propose merchandise plans for agreed stores, and implement the agreed plans, ensuring the best visual practice is implemented, take the lead on standards for visual merchandising across not only the Wax Lyricalbrand, but also the Portmeirion brands, and be the guardian of those standards.
You will be highly self-motivated, with experience of planning your own journey schedule, and will be comfortable with significant travel across the south of the UK, frequently staying away to maximize the time you have with customers.
The ability to juggle priorities is key so you will be great at managing your time, be highly organised with a strong work ethic and flexible attitude and approach to work. We expect high standards so you will need to have a sharp eye for detail and be greatat developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships to get things done efficiently.
