**Job Title**:Play Worker

**Job Summary**:
The post holder will be required to provide structured and stimulating play and development activities for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years of age, in a happy, safe and secure environment within the guidelines set by the National Standards for Out of School Care.

**Responsible to**:
Manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Supervise children and ensure their safety and well being.

Serve drinks and snacks.

Set out and put away toys ensuring safe storage.

Deliver a range of stimulating activities, indoor and outdoor, relevant to the age of the children.

Demonstrate your ability to work and communicate effectively with children and their parents/carers.

Provide professional opinions, both verbally and written, in matters relating to the children, to others where the need for shared information may arise.

Work in partnership with parents/carers and allied professionals to ensure full the integrations of children that may have special needs.

Understand and implement the policies and procedures of the setting.

Undertake appropriate training and development as required.

To undertake other duties as directed by the Manager.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 17.5 per week

2.30pm-6.00pm

Potentially to work full days in the school holidays to run holiday club.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
