As Admiral Money continues to broaden its support for the UK consumer through the introduction of additional financial products an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales Operations within the newly formed Specialist Mortgages team.
The Specialist Mortgage team will operate as a start-up within Admiral Money. It will operate as a team with appropriate specialists across all functions but with the added support and benefits of being part of Admiral Money and the wider Admiral Group.
This role is seen as an important piece of the puzzle in creating and building a market leading, digital first, specialist lending proposition.
You will be responsible for setting up Sales Operations, establishing Policies, Process and Procedures that drive exceptional outcomes for our future customers. Working alongside the Product and Proposition team you will articulate the customers needs from a sales perspective to ensure that technology is used as both a differentiator and an enabler in our customer journey. You will be key to setting up a simple, fit for purpose approach that we can continue to improve as we become more established. You will always be looking for ways to create efficiencies and will be comfortable deploying continuous improvement methodologies to deliver more quality and quantity.
Using your experience in the Specialist Lending market you will input into the go-to-market structure and scaling of the business as it is being established. This will all be alongside assisting in the IT platform build ensuring that Sales Operations requirements are met whilst ensuring optionality for future product developments and markets.
**A bit about Admiral Money**
Admiral Money is an exciting, new division of Admiral Group. We have the freedom and innovation of a small start up with the security of a large parent company, Admiral.
The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.
We’re looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a special lending business for our customers.
**What you’ll be doing**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that customer experience is amazing and demonstrated through consistently high TrustPilot and NPS measures
- Build out an MI Suite so you can identify both the tactical and strategic goals of the Sales Operations Team
- Input into the Regulated Business Plan with specific focus on the underpinning Policies and Procedures sales
- Assess the use of existing processing technology within Admiral Money and Admiral Group vs specialist lending requirements
- Working alongside the Product and Proposition team you will add SME input into requirements and support delivery through robust User Acceptance Testing
- As the Operational SME you will be working alongside the IT squad educating them in Specialist Mortgages ensuring that assumptions are challenged and requirements reflect the knowledge of the team
- Utilise your knowledge of Specialist Mortgage distribution to shape our processes, procedures to support the associated risk framework
- You will own 1LOD for Sales Operations ensuring robust controls and reporting are firstly developed and then adhered to
- Anticipate the needs of the business and ensure that optionality is maintained when considered against cost/benefit/schedule
