**About the Job Role**

The post holder is responsible for providing direct support in planning and implementing the duties of the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and effectively managing her workload:
**_Office Management_**
- Managing the COO’s diary including scheduling meetings, managing time effectively
- Dealing with phone enquiries on behalf of the COO’s and DPE both internal and external and directing as appropriate
- Development and maintenance of an effective filing system
- Re-prioritisation of work at short notice when necessary
- Organising meetings including drawing up and circulating agendas and papers, taking and circulating minutes and following up actions
- Management of correspondence
- Preparation of PowerPoint presentations as required
- New Business opportunities legislative/regulatory and accounting matters as required in support of COO’s
- As workloads permit, providing administrative support from time to time to the COO’s direct reports
**Business Development**
- lead generation and expanding the business. You will initiate contact with prospects, generate leads and sales, maintain relationships with existing clients and address their needs, and complete a range of administrative duties.
- Responsible for growing overall business for the organisation.
- Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities.
- Coordinating and arranging client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients.
- Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists.
- Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management.
- Providing effect administrative support.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Full range of computer skills - including a good working knowledge of Inter/Intranet,
- Understanding of administrative systems, filing, record keeping
- Efficient administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills, including effective prioritizing of work with previous
- experience of working to deadlines
- Experience of working with a wide range of people, interacting at all levels
- Flexible, with the ability to operate independently or as part of a small team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pro-active, forward thinking, and able to exercise sound judgment
- Discretion (role involves a high degree of confidential and sensitive information)
- A fast-paced team environment, have excellent people skills, and be comfortable pitching and presenting to customers regularly.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
