Jenson Fisher are delighted to be engaged by a highly reputable public sector organisation based in Paisley to recruit a Finance Officer, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join theteam, and then progress into a Finance Assistant role. My client offers hybrid working for this post.
The main duties:

- To print and post all invoices received
- Process all purchase invoices
- Matching with orders/delivery notes
- Match and post invoices onto the system
- Record unmatched invoices on the purchase ledger register
- Passing unmatched invoices out for authorisation
- Checking and coding invoices
- Handling purchase enquiries
- Liaising with suppliers
- Matching invoices to purchase orders received
The main requirements:

- Previous purchase ledger experience required
- An excellent communicator - verbal and written, including the ability to draft detailed reports for management
- Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Receptive to working in a fast paced, changing environment
- Fast, accurate keyboard skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
