**Job Overview**:
We are looking to recruit a proactive Logistic/Shipping Coordinator, who has great planning skills, and can manage a variety of tasks all happening simultaneously, to join our team, working on everything relating to shipping of our goods both domestically and internationally, booking travel and follow up liaison for our technicians, and related logistics, whilst providing support, cover and where applicable taking the lead across the various administration aspects of our business. The position will include a vital liaison with, technicians, carriers and within the business itself between functions to achieve the very best results whilst providing an exceptional level of service for our customers. Responsibilities will be wide and varied that will give you something different every day.

**Key Responsibility**:
Overall, the responsibility of the logistics team members is to achieve excellent customer service in our emergency response business, they will ensure seamless, end-to-end logistics from the point of mobilisation, whilst leading on activities relating to Shipping (logistics, comms, paperwork) and all aspects of travel (bookings, comms, planning) all the way through to invoicing. They will form part of the on-call team on the rota within our team. They will liaise with technicians on a regular basis to ensure that they have all that is required to enact a job efficiently and safely. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth logistics for mobilisations both abroad and in the UK.

**Day to day duties**:

- Generating commercial invoicing required for shipping purposes
- Generating packing lists
- Booking flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Booking of training for our technicians
- Liaison with carrier to ensure timely collections and delivery dates are met
- Supporting the Logistics team with mobilisations as directed
- Clear, effective, and timely communication with technicians, partners and customers
- Completing the invoicing process of Pos
- Providing COSHH and SDS paperwork as required
- Updating various databases
- Maintaining records, for example technician training
- Answering the emergency phone line, and managing appropriately
- Chasing customers for returns and uplifts to orders
- Utilising Sage 200 - SOP’s, Stock records, invoicing
- Completing mobilisation activities within our CRM system - Sales Force
- Achieve company and personal objectives as set by the Operations manager
- Working within process and where appropriate identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to the H&S policy and reporting any issues that have arisen
- Ensuring site security is maintained at all times
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
- Support the Operations Manager with any ad-hoc duties
- Adhering to all relevant QMS operating procedures
- Participation in the weekend on call rota

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Logistics/Shipping: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
