**Transport Officer**

**Assured Transport **are seeking a positive, compassionate, enthusiastic Transport Officer to facilitate the safe transportation of **young people **whilst maintaining a professional and efficient service at all times.

**As a Transport Officer you will be required**:

- To provide a professional and caring service for all young people whilst in the care of Assured Transport, ensuring that service user safety remains priority and that safety processes are adhered to.
- To support and transport vulnerable young people
- To ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed according to Assured Transport current policies and procedures.
- To ensure that restraint training is applied correctly should an incident occur, and restraint is required.
- To in the event of an incident, you may be required to administer first aid as per your training.
- To ensure that statutory regulations and Assured Transport policies and procedures are always implemented and adhered to.
- To work to the values of the organisation and display high standards of integrity and professionalism towards the young people and colleagues
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the post as may be assigned from time to time.

**Key Requirements**:

- Full clean, UK driving licence
- Restraint trained
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work at short notice
- Able to work on shifts at various hours
- You must be able to attend the head office (Telford) within one hour during on-call shifts

**Bank staff (zero hours) available.**

**Rate of pay £12.00 per hour.**

**Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends.**

This post will require you to have an enhanced DBS check.
