London, United Kingdom New Look Full time

We’re New Look and we’ve been at the forefront of British high-street fashion since 1969. Over the last 50 years, we’ve grown to be a global, multichannel brand offering on-trend, value-driven fashion for women, men, girls and boys.

Our passion is feel-good fashion at feel-good prices - and we truly believe that all starts with us. Our values inspire us every day: we play to win, we’re customer-obsessed and we work as one to give each and every one of our customers That New Look Feeling.

It's a busy and exciting time for the brand and we’re on the hunt for a Casting and Studio Assistant to join our growing team.

**_Responsibilities:_**

The main focus of this role is to support the Senior Casting Manager with all aspects of model casting and model booking. The model booking department is responsible for sourcing and securing an amazing roster of models to use across the company, This includes models for all NL ecom product shoots, campaigns and creative content shoots. Their goal is to build a strong visual identity for the brand - and do so in the most efficient way possible.

The role sits within the wider studio team, where we have a truly ‘one-team’ approach, so the role would also involve additional production admin and occasional on set shoot assistance. This role is for someone that is flexible with a can do attitude. You are going to need to have excellent, accurate admin skills, as well as be comfortable on a busy photo studio set, and dealing with models and casting agents on a daily basis. A keen interest or previous experience in the world of casting is preferable.

This role is predominantly responsible for supporting the Senior Casting Manager to ensure the seamless running of all day-to-day model booking and casting for the business including:

- Optioning and confirming models for e-commerce bookings
- Checking in & welcoming models daily, ensuring they have everything they need whilst they’re on the shoot - and being a key point of contact for them whilst in the building
- Confidently arranging & holding castings with models at our in-house studios
- Building and maintaining a really strong ‘behind-the-scenes’ filing and organisational system for the casting team - including updating model family docs, seasonal casting docs, and booking calendars
- Liaising daily with external model agents in a professional manner, and building strong relationship.
- Working closely with our in-house studio team to become a key, reliable team member
- Taking ownership on certain casting areas, with guidance from Senior Casting Manager
- Working closely with Senior Casting Manager on 915 (teen) castings in particular - taking ownership of the process involved including licensing and regular check-ins with the models/agents
- Support Senior Managers by creating studio presentation decks
- Ensure all model rates are recorded and communicated correctly. Accuracy and consistency in bookings is key in this role.
- Stepping in to cover Senior Casting Manager during annual leave
- Calendar management for upcoming creative & campaign shoots
- Reviewing other high street brands to see what models they are using - and suggesting them for us where appropriate
- Follow models and brands on Instagram - always bringing ideas to the table for discussion
- Support with any day-to-day studio and production assistance as and when required including general studio runner activities, sample receiving, supporting the styling team; steaming product, wardrobe maintenance and photography assistance.

**_About You:_**
- Passion for models
- Previous experience within casting or a studio environment preferred
- Creative experience of putting deck and presentations together
- Numerical accuracy
