Senior Warehouse Operative

In this role, you will ensure the warehouse runs efficiently and effectively, from maintaining accurate stock levels and overseeing the timely receipt and dispatch of goods, to upholding Oska’s high standards of quality. You will be key to creating and sustaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment, while supporting smooth operational flow that delivers an outstanding customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Driving High Performance**: Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and strict adherence to health and safety standards.
- **Upholding Stock Excellence**: Take ownership of receiving, checking, and storing all incoming goods with precision. Maintain accurate system records by creating and updating product locations, while safeguarding optimal stock levels through careful handling, proactive rotation, and rigorous stocktakes.
- **Ensuring Order Accuracy**: Pick, pack, and dispatch orders promptly, consistently meeting Oska’s quality and delivery standards.
- **Championing Warehouse Excellence**: Create and maintain a safe, clean, and highly efficient warehouse by implementing and enforcing robust health and safety procedures. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and contribute to overall organisational success.
- **Ensuring Exceptional Service**: Support installations at customer sites when required, delivering professional, high-quality service. Safely operate company vans to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining outstanding customer care.
- **Collaborating and Delivering**: Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and consistently deliver excellent service.

**Required Skills and Attributes**
- Full UK driving licence with experience driving vans confidently and safely.
- Strong sense of accountability with the ability to take ownership of tasks and results.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work proactively and make timely decisions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while staying organised and composed.
- Strong communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and within a team.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role or a strong background in warehouse operations with proven leadership skills.
- Hold or previously held a forklift licence, preferably Bendi/Flexi.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
