**Hours**:9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5hrs per week) except Public Holidays and company closures.

**About the Company**:
Vegeco Ltd is a fast growing, multi-award winning ethical business based in Havant, specialising in plant-based, vegan pet foods. Since we started in 2006 we have grown to export to over 30 countries around the world.

**About the job**:
Working in a busy environment, the main daily activities are picking, packing, labelling and loading of orders. You will also be assisting with goods in/out and the preparation of pallets for export, stock control, stock replenishment and the inspection of deliveries.

Hours are typically 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday except public holidays and company closures.
- 12+ months warehouse experience with knowledge of safe manual handling procedures, use of pallet trucks and good housekeeping in a warehouse environment.
- Experience of picking and packing palletised goods, goods in, put away and goods out processes, stock rotation, stock taking and working with inventory management systems.
- This job requires physical fitness as the work involves heavy lifting (up to 30 kilos) and you will be constantly moving about.
- Familiar with parcel booking systems and printing of labels for goods out.
- Good numeracy and literacy (ideally English & Maths Grade C minimum or equivalents) and keen attention detail are essential for this role.
- Good time management is essential to meet daily deadlines.
- Positive, solutions focused attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision and use initiative to deal with problems

**Other skills and experience will be an advantage**:

- Full and clean driver's licence (not essential).
- 12+ months counterbalance forklift experience with valid training certificate.
- An understanding of vegetarian/vegan ethics and lifestyle is desirable.

Pay: £23,810.00 per year
