**Finance Apprentice**

**Finance Apprentice (AAT Level 2)**

We are looking for a Finance Apprentice to join our finance team, providing support to both the credit control and purchase ledger team.

You’ll be joining a friendly, fun and hardworking finance department, where your main responsibilities will include assisting with the day to day smooth running of the teams by posting transactions and in-putting invoices, contacting customers regarding payment of invoices, managing queries with internal and external stakeholders and building excellent relationships with suppliers and customers.

This role is ideal for anyone wishing to undertake a career in finance. The role offers progression through a professional Accountancy Qualification (AAT) as well as development through experience.

**Role Responsibilities include**:

- Posting invoices and credit notes on both sales and purchase ledger.
- Reconciling the accounts on both sales and purchase ledger.
- Positively dealing with customer and supplier queries and escalations.
- Assist the wider team with ad hoc tasks.
- Data entry.
- Posting and allocation of transactions.
- Assist with credit control tasks such as contacting customers regarding settlement of invoices.
- Monitor the shared mailboxes within finance.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

- 5 GCSEs at Level 4 including Maths & English.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- An effective team player with a precise approach with close attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Customer focused with excellent relationship building skills, with both clients and colleagues.
- A problem solving, solution-based mentality.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skill.
- Calm and considered working under pressure.
- A growth mindset & passion for learning.

**The Desirables**:

- Knowledge of IT systems/processes.
- Experience using CRM’s/computer systems.

**Salary**: £18,800.00-£20,816.00 per year
