Careersolve are excited to be working with a leading independent provider of high quality nursing and residential and social care across the North East. They have ambitious growth plans for building new care facilities across the North East. They are lookingfor a Business Development Executive to join them on a permanent basis based in Newcastle

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday and they offer a very attractive salary which is dependent on Experience.

The Main Duties of the Business Development Executive:

- Responsible for developing and maintaining innovative business development strategies within the Health and Social care sector. To generate referral opportunities for our Care Homes across the North of England and UK, by managing and maintaining our relationshipswith key commissioning contacts whilst also sourcing and developing new commissioning contacts and leads.

Key Duties:

- To undertake business development, including cold calling and managing potential leads for the purposes of business acquisition and retention managed through a CRM system.
- To ensure that current services are fully occupied by the marketing of vacancies to potential referral sources throughout the region.
- To build the positive reputation of the company by liaising professionally with external stakeholders and visitors including family and friends of potential clients.
- To work with colleagues to ensure that the company maximises the use of current services and become a provider of choice for our commissioning partners.
- To establish regular formal contact with Health and Social Care Commissioners.
- To produce reports and management information as directed.
- To work with regional and UK commissioners to maintain a detailed and contemporary understanding of their commissioning requirements to ensure we can react responsively to meet current and future commissioning opportunities.
- To communicate referral information and referrals to key stakeholders within the organisation.
- To work collaboratively with our Marketing Team to deliver marketing campaign opportunities and to oversee and deliver consistent messaging and marketing campaigns across all channels

Skills and Experience:

- Experienced in business development.
- Knowledge of the health and social care sector would be advantageous but not essential.
- Competent in producing and maintaining reports and management information.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong IT skills including the use of CRM.
- Full UK driving license and their own vehicle.
