_**Business Development Executive**_
Exciting opportunity to join a thought-leader in education, a rapidly growing company with a proven track record in educational sales and consultancy, supporting students in improving their life chances through better, more enduring reading. Our client offersUK schools unique and highly engaging online software, for pupils in Key Stage 2 and 3, that develops reading fluency, comprehension and vocabulary - a key focus for Ofsted’s new Education Inspection Framework (EIF). The software is truly pioneering, explicitlymodelling best practice to develop these essential skills. Results are exceptional and, already established in c.1,000 of 24,000 schools nationally, the business is seeking a highly self-motivated educational professional to work as part of a close-knit Salesteam as Business Development Executive to continue to increase Sales and brand-awareness.

**Reporting directly to the Sales Director, as Business Development Executive you will be responsible for**:

- Generating and developing leads, training, analysing data and compiling reports
- Presenting to Headteachers, Senior Leaders in Multi Academy Trusts and participating in conferences. These activities are currently carried out virtually via Zoom or Teams. Going forward, there may be the need to do this in person.
- Running, supporting and closing pilots that demonstrate the impact of the program, leading to buy-in at Senior Leadership level
- Raising awareness of and supporting the implementation of the software in primary and secondary schools

**As Business Development Executive you’ll need**:

- Strong recent experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, preferably gained in the Education sector. Educational professionals (e.g. teacher with experience at senior or middle management level) will also be considered.
- A first-rate understanding of a) the pressures on schools to achieve excellence and b) current educational practice relating to English/Literacy.
- Effective communication, influencing and organisational skills
- Excellent IT literate (including Microsoft Office)
- Access to your own car/transport and a current clean driving licence
- Flexibility - travel to schools may include some overnight stays
