Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this global retail business throughout an exciting period of expansion, investment and development in the appointment of a Food Proposition Manager to be responsible for shaping and developing theirvarious food propositions across their sizeable store format.
You will be responsible for:

- Defining what the various food propositions are and under what circumstances they would be deployed including identifying gaps in theoffer and providing recommendations for addressing these.
- Enhancing the reputation in food though proposition development and the relationships with both brand partners as well as landlords
- Understanding the profitability of the different food propositions on offer to ensure you are optimizing the offer in each location
- Use various sources to keep up to date with customer trends and competitor offers to ensure you remain at the forefront of the FTG market. Interpret and use this information to initiate and influence new propositions that will enhance the customer offer.
- Defining the future coffee and breakfast offer / key day part food solutions including the potential for hot food to unlock this opportunity in more locations including recommendations around which proposition to deploy in each location.
- Working with the Business development team to create a 24hr food solution within hospital locations, including maximising the potential of the food proposition within their vending machines

About you:

- Food service experience is desirable
- You must have a love of food with previous experience either in food buying or category management
- Have the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and with ambiguity
- Have strong interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and can influence at all levels both internally and with your external partners and landlords
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Commercially astute; technically savvy and able to operate independently and take accountability
